Brake Press Operator - Beneficial Talent Source : Job Details

Batavia Ohio family owned job shop is seeking a 1st shift Brake Press Operator. M-F, 6a-3:30p, starting pay

Responsibilities/Qualifications:

• Safe and efficient operation of all equipment.
• Program brake to accurately form parts per drawing and verbal instructions.
• Create, edit, store, and retrieve CNC programs.
• Be able to determine proper bend order to complete forming without collisions.
• Perform set-up/run operations including tooling installation and checking program for accuracy.
• Perform all required quality checks to ensure part accuracy and appearance.
• Use the correct measuring equipment, tools and program edits to hold relevant tolerances.

Experience:

• 2+ yrs. operating brake.
• 1+ yrs. Programming.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to perform basic math skills (fractions, decimals)
• Ability to convert metric to imperial.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Must have own tools.
• Experience with sheet metal and light plate.
