**Purpose:** To provide leadership to the branch by directing and managing all daily functions necessary to run a profitable location, including sales, budgets, inventory control, personnel management, expenses, branch administration, and new business development. This role is accountable for the Profit & Loss of the branch and contributes to the overall profitability of the company. Additionally, responsible for growing and maintaining a sales organization within a designated territory to achieve or exceed company sales objectives. **Principal Accountabilities:** 1. **Branch Management:** - Plan, coordinate, and direct operational activities for the branch. - Develop and manage annual branch operations to ensure profitability. - Implement fiscal year branch sales plan in collaboration with regional manager and operations manager including specific plans for top ten customers. - Maximize gross profit through effective customer price schedules. - Supervise all branch employees, including recruiting, hiring, scheduling, performance evaluations, salary adjustments, promotions, coaching, and discipline. - Oversee branch building maintenance - Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards. 2. **Sales and Territory Management:** - Meet or exceed annual sales goals for the assigned territory. - Generate prospect lists and acquire new accounts. - Make direct and indirect sales calls to drive territory sales growth. - Participate in sales forecasting, planning, and analysis of sales trends and costs. - Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to support customer needs. - Promote One Brand Selling concept where applicable. 3. **Customer Relationship Management:** - Develop and maintain long-term business relationships with customers to promote sales growth and customer satisfaction. - Handle customer inquiries and issues related to pricing, service, and product availability. 4. **Inventory Management:** - Manage branch inventory, including daily cycle counts and annual physical inventory. - Recommend appropriate stock levels and manage excess, damaged, or obsolete products. Salary: $85K-90K/annually Requirements **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience. - 3-5 years of management experience in HVAC or related industry. - 3-5 years of sales and customer service experience. - Proficient in MS Office; forklift training preferred. - Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. - Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory, occasionally requiring overnight stays. - Valid driver's license required. **Behavioral Competencies:** - Promote company based culture initiatives. - Strong fiscal accountability and driven to achieve business results. - Effective staff management and leadership skills. - Visionary with the ability to lead change. - Customer-focused with creative and innovative thinking. - Able to manage multiple priorities and make decisions based on limited information. **Other Information:** - Participate in after-hours (on-call) schedule and after-hours training as required. - This job description is subject to change at the company's discretion.
