Internal and external relations to enhance member care and professional services. QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or three years' experience with Birch Tree Communities. Must have basic knowledge of excel and mathematical skills to learn and understand budget needs. Must possess a valid and current driver's license. Certified as a QBHP. Supervisory experience at Birch Tree Communities is preferred. Meet state of Arkansas Notary Requirements to become a Notary Public and maintain in good standing. Valid CMP, CPI, CPR and First Aid certifications Prefer knowledge of the mental health system, Medicaid rules, CSSP, CARF guidelines, and legal system relevant to mental illness. Honest, dependable, self-motivated, and dedicated to Birch Tree Values and Mission. Ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Attend Weekly Scheduled Meetings including but not limited to Director's meeting, quarterly budget meeting, and weekly supervision meeting. Ensure all paraprofessional employees (current, new hires, and self) are up to date on orientation, required trainings, and CEU's. Supervise QBHP's and ensure the schedule provides coverage based on the needs of members outlined in the plan of care. The schedule must be maintained with who is scheduled and documented call-ins and who filled in for open shift and be maintained for a least 5 years. Ensures all QBHP/paraprofessional new hires complete onboarding paperwork, are oriented to the branch, are provided shadow shifts, and that all training is completed before working their first unsupervised shift. Ensures QBHP Supervisions are completed within guidelines, entered timely, reflect case consultation, and cover supervision codes (no deficiencies noted in audits) Ensures all staff, including self, complete annual training in company mandated courses and maintain certifications in QBHP, Averting Crisis & Emergency Holds Training, CPR, First Aide and AED courses. Ensure drills and inspections are completed and turned in timely per Health and Safety Director's report Ensures all Health and Safety standards and regulations are followed and when identified corrective action is taken within prescribed timelines in order to minimize health and safety infractions. Responsible for meeting all BTC yearly outcomes as follows: Members moving to greater independence, Members working or volunteering in the community, Member satisfaction survey, Service utilization (TC and Rehab services), Plan of Care objective achievement, and Medication Independence. Completes and submits POs by the 5th of each month. Ensure timely and accurate responses to requests from the HR Department and the Business Office. Complete yearly performance evaluations within time frames outlined. Coordinate activities between the para-professional and professional staff. Ensure that all directives from Administrative Management are effectively implemented. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Manages members account responsibly, ensuring accurate record keeping according to Birch Tree policy and procedure. Ensure bank reconciliation, bank statements for petty cash and members account, and member account sheets are signed by the member and match the ledger by the 10th of each month. On call 24/7 for emergencies. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
