As a Branch Manager III, you will lead dedicated teams across three locations, ensuring exceptional library services that meet the unique needs of each community. They will encourage staff contributions and personal professional development while fostering a diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accessible work environment. Branch Manager III will lead a team of library professionals who are committed to creating a thriving library in the heart of their community as they support and build a strong partnership with library patrons and their local official(s), ensuring the library is a welcoming space for all, and contribute to the overall success of the Library.

- Manage materials budget and oversee branch collection
- Oversee and help develop library community programming and outreach initiatives

- Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress toward goals, and track details, data, information, and activities

- Assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem
- Assesses options and actions based on trends and conditions in the environment and the vision and values of the organization
- Know, understand, and administer the American Library Association's Library Bill of Rights, Freedom to Read Statement, and Freedom to View Statement, recognizing that freedom of access is a fundamental tenet of a public library; in addition to these freedoms, support client discretion of materials available at your local library(ies)
- Follow all legal and policy requirements for patron privacy and custodianship of patron records.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- An MLIS is required; however, candidates currently enrolled in a program or their final year of study will also be considered.
- One year of supervisory experience is preferred.
- One year of progressively responsible library managerial experience and/or administrative functions of a library or equivalent knowledge is preferred.
- Experience in a role that requires frequent interaction with customers, fulfilling customers' requests, and responsibility for addressing customer issues, questions, and suggestions is preferred.
- Experience analyzing and applying financial reports and library-related data (usage, demographics, trends, etc.) is preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT
- Ability to sit for long periods and focus on projects such as computer screens or detailed paperwork.
- Occasionally lifting/pushing/pulling of items weighing up to twenty-five (25) pounds, such as files, books, and other materials.
