The Branch Manager is accountable for all aspects of branch performance to maximize deposit growth, loan production, customer satisfaction and retention, operating efficiency, and employee satisfaction. Has administrative responsibility over the deposit and loan functions of the branch. Partners with Market Executives, Commercial Bankers, and Commercial Relationship Specialists to develop relationships, referrals, and calling strategies to achieve both deposit and loan goals. The Branch Manager is responsible for branch compliance with bank policies, procedures, and operational integrity.
- Serves as the branch expert on products, services, and branch operations.
- Manages the staff and operations area of a larger and/or more complex full-service branch office.
- Responsible for branch operations, customer service, new accounts, problem resolution and information, and account servicing.
- Oversees the daily activities of the branch ensuring the Bank's processes, procedures and policies are being adhered to on a consistent basis. Ensures the entire staff is aware of the expectations of each employee.
- Provides a professional example to the staff and customers. Models superior service behaviors for employees.
- Provides credit and deposit product consulting to personal and business customers. Proactively sells and cross-sells core products.
- Identifies and refers customers who may utilize additional products and services.
- Participates in various community activities to ensure Dogwood State Bank is visible in the communities it serves.
- Has responsibility for following regulatory requirements including those pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Customer Identification Program (CIP), and OFAC to assist in the identification, detection and determent of money laundering or other unlawful activities.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 5 years banking experience with a focus on sales, management and customer relationships is required.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of banking products and services
- Must have knowledge of consumer loan and line of credit guidelines.
- Previous business development experience is essential.
- Must possess highly developed interpersonal and negotiating skills.
- Must be an effective motivator and communicator with customers, prospects and staff.
- Must have strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to conduct staff meetings and periodic training is desired.
