POSITION: Brand Ambassador

REPORTS TO: Marketing Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Represent the brand, working closely with the marketing team to effectively showcase products.
  • Understand business priorities and goals and educate consumers and budtenders on product details.
  • Engage with customers via product demos at designated retail accounts and events.
  • Build and maintain respectful, professional relationships with buyers, managers, budtenders, customers, and community members.
  • Coordinate, set up, and break down representation at dispensary pop-up events and industry/community events.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to work various shifts
  • Utilize social media to engage consumers and promote brand awareness.
  • Travel extensively within the state to dispensaries (~75% of each work week)
  • Provide accurate product information and maintain high-level product knowledge to clearly communicate benefits.
  • Implement best-in-class field marketing engagements and activations, completing necessary reporting using Microsoft Excel.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local community partners, dispensary, wholesale, and manufacturing teams.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and external partners, adhering to schedules in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, upholding the company's core values of respect, diversity, sustainability, research, and service, and adhering to cultural principles of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 Years of experience in field marketing, brand ambassadorship, or a related role.
  • Adept understanding of the cannabis industry and product knowledge.
  • Proficiency in using social media for brand engagement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage events and promotional activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data tracking.
  • Strong situational awareness and emotional intelligence (EQ).
  • Willingness to work various shifts and ability to travel extensively within the state
  • Demonstrated ability to work productively with internal cross-functional teams and external partners.
