Brand Director - healthybaby : Job Details

The Brand Director will be responsible for the brand equity and marketing plans for HealthyBaby. Reporting to the President, this scope will include overall brand planning to grow brand awareness, traffic and love of the brand. You will partner with our SVP Growth to ensure we have strategic plans across paid, owned and earned media that deliver on our overall business goals. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment and is able to drive results and create processes. You should be comfortable wearing multiple hats and pivoting based on updated priorities or insights. The preferred candidate also should be motivated and inspired by our mission to protect, enrich, and support the developmental potential of every baby. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead the annual brand planning process and ensure marketing efforts deliver aligned growth to the business and support our long-term vision & mission.
• Lead team in developing and executing big marketing and commercialization ideas that can fuel topline brand growth.
• Work closely with our SVP of Growth on awareness and consideration strategies related to new product launches.
• Build communication plans (media and PR).
• Manage brand marketing budget and analyze marketing program performance in partnership with SVP of Growth; P&L management in collaboration with finance.
• Execute meaningful and robust Shopper and Consumer Promotion Marketing programs in Target and Amazon.
• Partner with Innovation Manager to build GTM plans for key innovation launches, and ensure there is a strong, aligned plan to drive awareness and conversion for each launch.
• Actively lead Marketing department meetings and proactively contribute ideas.
• Keep up on trends and brand marketing with a focus on the babycare industry and our competition.
• Guarantee established due dates are met and budgetary control is maintained for each project during the creative process.

WHAT WE NEED

• Masters degree in Marketing or related subject, or equivalent work experience. MBA highly preferred.
• Omnichannel CPG experience required (preferred working with baby products).
• Ideally experience with Target and DTC.
• 5+ years of relevant Account Executive or Associate Brand Management experience, ideally large CPG and then a startup.
• Obsessive to learn company products and services, and understand marketing goals for multiple offerings.
• A creative mindset with the ability to interpret marketing objectives in the creative elements.
• The ability to logically plan and sort out information coupled with quick reaction and performance under deadline pressures.
• Ability to innovate and think critically.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to multi-task and reprioritize requests.
• Attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy, quality, and a critical eye for design aesthetics.
• NYC-based is preferred. This is a hybrid position, 3 days a week in the office with the team are expected.
