The Brand Specialist is responsible for supporting the Brand Director in developing and implementing effective global strategies and business/marketing plans to enhance the brand portfolios and drive market growth in close collaboration with key internal business partners and the license.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Setting, monitoring, and reviewing annual brand targets
- Develop plans by channel of trade to ensure that top line sales goals are achieved.
- Investigate brand & competitive trends/ results and identify commercial opportunities, strategies and & action plans to improve sales and increase market share.
- Develop strong partnership with Product Manager to assist with design concepts, trend research, Brand/collection direction and matrix lay-out.
- Identify opportunities to grow door productivity, develop and customize global tools to help with new brand sell in
- Communicate to HQ on North American needs (product, marketing tools) by analyzing market environment, competition and brand trends and share recommendations on a regular basis.
- Present and communicate eyewear collections for brand reviews, training, and sales needs.
- Develop tools to train all sales reps on product, marketing, and brand identity.
- Manage local marketing budget including advertising, training, promotional and commercial plans.
- Manage the relationship with the licensor/s with the objective of eyewear business understanding and delivering brand appropriate and effective marketing programs.
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of Brand Marketing experience (preferably in the Accessory Industry)
- Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing or marketing-related field
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Able to thrive in fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal cross-functional teams and external groups.
Excellent oral and written communication/presentation skills and attention to detail.
