  • Assist masons and layers in various tasks to facilitate efficient project completion.
  • Prepare job sites by setting up equipment, tools, and materials as required.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety protocols and cleaning up debris.
  • Properly mix mud according to job site specifications with assistance from experienced personnel.
  • Load and stack materials in an organized manner to ensure easy access and minimize hazards.
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of grouting and finishing techniques, and assist with these tasks as needed.
  • Have a basic understanding of scaffolding setup and assist in its construction as required.
  • Clean tools and job sites regularly to ensure equipment longevity and safety.
  • Learn and understand the daily processes involved in project execution and contribute efficiently to the workflow.
  • Work diligently and efficiently to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Have the ability to make basic cuts and perform tasks such as keeping layers on the wall and laying materials accurately.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a construction or labor-intensive role preferred.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
  • Basic understanding of construction techniques and terminology.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
