Bridge Operations - Custodian - City of McAllen : Job Details

Under immediate supervision, the Custodian performs custodial and janitorial duties for the McAllen International Bridge Department. The employee keeps building(s) and outside premises in clean and orderly condition and cleans offices, conference rooms, public restrooms, storage areas, hallways, public areas, and employee lounge areas. The employee picks up and empties trash and maintains the immediate surrounding grounds clean of any trash, and performs light, medium and heavy janitorial and custodial services in and outside of public areas or buildings as assigned. The Employee performs outine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs and has daily contact with the public requiring tact, courtesy and diplomacy.
