POSITION SUMMARY:
Operates point of sale and ensures accurate accounting of collections and transactions at the Grill. Prepares food and beverage for sale at the Grill. Exceptional member/patron service is always the primary focus.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receives cash bank at beginning of shift and verifies its accuracy Ensures an accurate accounting of all transactions and collections during work shiftsObtains and reviews information regarding food and beverage pricingCollects cash, checks and charge paymentsMakes change for cash transactions and prepares member or credit card chargesCounts money and charge payments in cash drawer at the end of the work shiftReconciles cash receipts and charge sales with total sales to verify accuracy of transactionsTurns in cash bank and deposits the daily report with receipts into designated safe Helps keep the dining area neat and clean and keep merchandise stockedFollows standard recipes when prepping and preparing all itemsUses food preparation equipment according to manufacturer's instructionsFollows all safe and sanitary food handling practicesNotifies supervisor in advance of product shortagesReturns any unused food to proper food storage areasCleans and sanitizes food preparation utensils and returns them to the proper areaProperly cleans work station and equipmentAdheres to all Grill policies and proceduresAdvises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occurPerforms any other duties as directed
