As an BSA Associate, on the Risk team, you will execute daily operational tasks related to financial crimes risk management. You will become a subject matter expert on reviewing and identifying suspicious behavior. We are looking for a passionate individual who is excited about growth! Position Overview
As a BSA Associate, you will be working in an innovative environment to design and implement controls to protect customers and Jiko from financial crimes. This position will work closely with teams across the company, including the engineering, product management, compliance, and infrastructure team to create an efficient and effective risk management system.

What you will be doing:
* Ensure transaction monitoring for suspicious activity & sanctions alerts are conducted according to internal procedures.
* Perform KYC reviews for both onboarding and ongoing reviews.
* Support the compliance team on creating, managing, and implementing key policies under the BSA/AML Compliance Program.
* Act as a business partner to other teams in supporting new product and customer growth.
* Assist with regulatory audits and examinations.
* Manage and oversee regulatory reporting requirements such as SAR filings.
* Have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving, and technologically driven environment.
What you bring to the table:
* 2+ years of proven compliance experience in regulated financial institution(s)
* Knowledge of all aspects of BSA and OFAC.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment including proficiency in Word and Excel.
* Ability to apply critical thinking to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions or approaches to problems.
* Ability to read, comprehend, analyze, and interpret legal documents, governmental regulations, and professional publications, especially guidance issued by regulatory authorities on the issues of Bank Compliance and Bank Secrecy Act.
* Ability to effectively present information to and respond to inquiries from senior management, attorneys, vendors, government agents, and various teams.
* Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
