This role requires prior experience in high-end dining rooms and banquet settings, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to delivering a refined guest experience. The server will expertly manage table service, assist with special event setups, and ensure seamless coordination between dining and banquet operations.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Fine Dining Service:

• Provide attentive, professional table service, including taking and delivering accurate food and beverage orders.
• Offer detailed knowledge of menu items, wine pairings, and special event options, assisting guests with recommendations.
• Ensure all table settings meet fine dining standards, including polished glassware, silverware, and pristine linens.

Banquet and Conference Support:

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of banquet and conference spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, and décor.
• Deliver banquet-style service, including plated meals, buffet maintenance, and beverage service, during events.
• Collaborate with the banquet team to ensure smooth transitions between dining room and event services.

Guest Engagement:

• Greet guests warmly and ensure a memorable dining experience by addressing any special requests or dietary needs.
• Act as a resource for guests, providing information about the resort's amenities and events when needed.
• Anticipate guest needs to provide an elevated level of personalized service.

Teamwork & Collaboration:

• Work closely with the kitchen, banquet, and dining room teams to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Provide support to colleagues during high-volume periods or when transitioning between fine dining and event services.
• Take direction from supervisors to adapt quickly to changes in service flow or event requirements.

Cleanliness & Organization:

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining room and event spaces, ensuring all areas meet resort standards.
• Clear and reset tables promptly, restocking supplies as needed.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols.

Professionalism & Adaptability:

• Adhere to Shanty Creek Resorts' appearance and uniform standards, maintaining a polished and professional demeanor.
• Remain flexible and adaptable to changing guest needs or event requirements.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support the overall success of the Summit Dining Room and events.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of experience in fine dining and banquet settings required.
• Strong knowledge of table service etiquette, wine and beverage service, and banquet operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction and teamwork.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in both high-pressure and formal settings.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, carrying trays or banquet supplies as needed.
• Lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent transitions between dining and banquet tasks.
