The RoleAbout the PositionWe are seeking a Builder Development Manager to manage and grow the California market!Fisher & Paykel has been designing products since 1934 and has grown into a global company operating in 50 countries and manufacturing in Mexico, Italy, Thailand, and New Zealand. Not only does this mean we design and build the best appliances, but that we understand who our key customers are and engage with them according to their very specific needs.The Specifiers, Designers, and Architects market is one of huge opportunity for us and requires a very special skill set to develop and leverage the key relationships required. From identifying key clients, through networking and engaging with them, it's vital to our success that we've got the right person on the job.That's where you come in.You Will:
  • You'll develop the relationships using your well-developed hunter skills with the SDA market segment.
  • You'll introduce our brands, deliver product training, and provide your expertise where it's needed.
  • From supporting our customer's design process to giving advice on installation, you'll be able to ensure you guide our customers through to complete the sale with our Builder Dealer Network.
  • You'll intimately understand all aspects of our brands and will be able to develop detailed sales and marketing plans to grow market share within the SDA segment.
  • You're a product expert, a project manager, and an excellent stakeholder manager.
  • You've got the drive and ambition to help others succeed and you're it when it comes to consumer sales and marketing knowledge.
You Have:
  • 5-7 years sales experience in working with the builder or designer community
  • In-Depth knowledge of builder business
  • Ability to work weekends and travel throughout the region
  • A Bachelors degree is preferred or equivalent work experience within the industry
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) SFDC

The base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000. This range is a guideline and may not reflect your exact offer. Factors considered when extending an offer include (but are not limited to) education, experience, relevant skills, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
