BUILDING AND FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - Praxis Packaging : Job Details

Established in 1989, Praxis Packaging is FDA, DEA, and cGMP certified with production facilities in Grand Rapids, MI, and Randolph, NJ and is a leading provider of primary and secondary contract packaging services for pharmaceutical, medical device, animal health, and health and beauty markets.

Praxis Packaging is seeking Building and Facilities Maintenance Technicians with the following responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of buildings to identify and address maintenance needs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry work, and HVAC systems.
• Performing maintenance tasks such as , and HVAC system maintenance
• Responding to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Assisting with the implementation of facility improvement projects
• Perform minor repairs and supervise contractors for major repair work.
• Keep maintenance records and report on maintenance activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role- Understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently and in a team.- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification or trade school education is a plus
