SUMMARY OF POSITION Kinsley is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Foreman to join our growing Building team in Hagerstown, MD. As a General Contractor, the Foreman is responsible for directing and coordinating activity associated with the construction of the project in accordance with established schedules, budgets, plans, specifications and procedures. A successful candidate will lead by example, motivate crew members and efficiently manage the job. TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Effectively lead, manage and motivate crews
• Successfully manage and schedule subcontractors
• Interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications
• Plan, schedule and utilize necessary manpower, tools, materials and equipment needed to complete the job
• Receive material deliveries and maintain on-site inventory
• Responsible for completing daily time sheets and maintaining daily logs
• Use tools and operate equipment in compliance with Kinsley's safety policies and procedures when necessary
• Comprehend and follow blueprints and specifications to meet needs of the project.
• Work on multiple commercial projects with varying scopes while delivering quality craftsmanship.
• Perform other related duties as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years of field leadership experience
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of all aspects of building construction
• Previous concrete work experience preferred
• Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and moving whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials.
• Ability to read and follow construction site drawings, blueprints, diagrams and specifications is preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test and a DOT physical.
