Position Objectives

The Town of Williston Public Works Department is seeking a full-time Buildings & Grounds Maintenance Worker. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the appearance, safety, and functionality of Town facilities and outdoor spaces. Responsibilities encompass a diverse range of tasks, including building and grounds maintenance, custodial work, plowing, and other duties as required.

Minimum qualifications include:

• Having a high school diploma (or equivalent) with two to three years of relevant work experience.
• Applicants must have a valid Vermont Driver's License.

The Town of Williston offers an excellent compensation package including health and dental insurance, retirement benefits, holidays, vacation, sick leave, and more. The starting pay rate ranges between $22 - $23 per hour depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
