• Minimum of High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities May Include:

• Maintains confidentiality
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse clientele including students, parents, school personnel, and the bus driver
• Able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
• Able to load and unload students on buses in extremely cold weather
• Must maintain a good attendance record and display a professional and cooperative demeanor at all times
• Assist the bus driver in maintaining appropriate student conduct among all passengers
• Assist students getting on and off the bus via the service door when necessary
• Participate in emergency evacuation drills in accordance with state regulations and district policy
• Assist driver with maintaining cleanliness of the bus
• Other duties as assigned
