Ikonix USA is looking for a Business Acquisition Specialist to add to its Sales team!
Everyday you use products powered by electricity and battery currents. Every time you toast your bread, charge your laptop, blow dry your hair or wash your clothing, you are using products that need to be tested to ensure their electrical safety.
Our goal is to keep people safe from the dangers of electrical shock. Ikonix USA manufactures electrical safety compliance instruments and power sources.
Our customers use our instruments to ensure they are producing and shipping products that are safe to use.
The Business Acquisition Specialist is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities to help expand the company's customer base. Creates and maintains a sales plan to hold themselves accountable and guides them in meeting and exceeding their sales quota. Establishes and develops relationships with their established accounts to produce repeat annual sales revenue and build brand loyalty through positive customer experiences. This will be a commission-based position with a yearly base salary of $40,000. The individual's commission structure will be 10% for new business acquired. That 10% commission will apply to that account for all purchases (invoices) made by that account within 12 months of securing the business. After 12-month grace period, the commission rate for those acquired accounts will be 1% on all invoices.

The activities revolving around the sales process requires the movement of instrumentation, which when packaged can weigh in excess of 100 lbs. The movement of instrumentation can be shipping and receiving at UPS or FedEx, lifting in and out of automobiles or airplanes, transporting to and from a customer site, lifting and transporting within a customer's physical location; aka conference room, test lab, or production floor, transporting equipment to and from home office, transporting equipment to and from tradeshows:
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Visiting customer facilities of manufacturing to conduct product demonstrations can place personnel in a multitude of environments from medical device manufacturers building X-ray equipment and lasers, to aerospace facilities working with rare materials, to PCB manufacturers using chemicals and other toxic materials for assembly. Our equipment in general produces high voltage, which inherently puts us at risk of electrical shock every time our equipment is turned on and demonstrated to customers.
Protective clothing like eye protection, ear protection, ESD clothing, bunny suits, hard hats, and steel toe covers is commonly required when visiting manufacturing facilities.
