Role: Business AnalystLocation: 17400 Brookhurst Street 01, Fountain Valley, CA - 92708 (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)Position type: 6+ months with high possibility of extension/Conversion as FTEPay range: $63 - $68/hr on W2Job description:2 years in banking/finance preferredRole will build and implement reconciliation and reporting tools for multiple projects including US Account Bank transaction onboarding and Latin American application migrations.Responsibilities:• Assist with the LATAM EUC Remediation and template setup project• Assist with the ABS, CAT Bond, and RMBS migration projects• Assist with design and development of various Excel and python-based models to create prototype solutions to redesign and automate existing processes• Test models, data and related reports for completeness and accuracy• Create reconciliation and validation tools for structured finance transactions utilizing pythonQualifications:• Some experience in banking or debt capital markets industry is preferred• Proficiency in a programming language such as python is required, proficiency in VBA is desirable but not required• BS degree in finance or a relevant quantitative field such as mathematics, physics, computer science, or engineering required, and related advanced degree strongly preferred• Strong command of conversational and written Spanish required• Must be highly competent with Excel• Must have strong problem-solving skills, excellent work ethic, detail-oriented and good communication skills• Must be motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
