Product Operating Model (POM) team is responsible for driving transformational change in how our organization operates, helping teams become more
customer-centric, outcome-driven, and empowered. Our work involves data analysis, strategic planning, and community engagement to ensure the successful adoption of modern product management practices across WEX. Our
Summer Internship Program puts you in the heart of one of the most strategic companies in the world. You will collaborate with multiple team members across Product, Tech, and Design, contribute to key initiatives, and even take ownership of projects that shape the future of our teams. Our guidance and education throughout this journey will help build your confidence, expand your professional experiences, and improve your leadership skills. The program runs for approximately
13 weeks from late May to mid-August, and internships are
paid with remote, hybrid, and onsite opportunities available. WEX hires the brightest, most talented individuals into our program. Many of our interns go on to secure full-time positions or extended internship opportunities after completing their initial program. What You Will Be Doing: - Assist with analyzing quarterly POM survey results to uncover trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to the creation of reports, presentations, and materials for Product, Tech, and Design communities of practice to drive engagement and knowledge sharing.
- Provide support for action planning efforts by helping translate survey insights into concrete recommendations and tracking follow-ups.
- Facilitate discussions and strategic planning efforts around team effectiveness, innovation velocity, and operational stability.
Must Have for This Role: - Working towards a Bachelor's in Business, Data Analytics, Product Management, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- At least two years completed in an undergraduate program.
- Basic understanding of data analysis and survey methodologies, with a keen eye for extracting insights.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, or other visualization tools to help communicate findings effectively.
- Strong passion for organizational change, product innovation, and fostering a growth mindset.
- Problem-solving skills, particularly in identifying process inefficiencies and suggesting improvements.

Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
