Job Description :

Tech Valley Talent (TVT) has an opening for a Business Analyst with strong Salesforce experience and prior marketing or sales environmental exposure. This individual should be local to Albany, NY, even though the role is primarily remote in case there are occasional onsite meetingsand collaborations.

DURATION: 2 years

LOCATION: Hybrid; Albany, NY

The successful candidate will manage information on key partnerships and relationships and assist with process development as well as contracting for strategic partnerships.

Qualifications

  • A variety of educational backgrounds may be successful in this role including Information or Library Science, technical disciplines, Sales, Marketing, and Business Administration.
  • Expertise in Salesforce or other digital CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.
  • Expertise in Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), shared file systems, and online research techniques.
  • Salesforce CRM proficiency (account and contact management, campaign development, creating custom reports).
  • Marketing analytics - recommend, maintain, and report basic metrics measuring market engagement.
  • Contract management - process and facilitate sponsorship contracts and other partnership agreements.
  • Technical writing ability - generate reports based on stakeholder information and perform media and secondary source research as directed.
  • Conversational familiarity with current technology and technology trends in renewable energy, clean transportation and buildings, the power grid, etc.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) proficiency including account and contact management, lead and opportunity tracking, campaign development, and creating reports preferred.
  • Experience supporting sales or other relationship-focused organization preferred.
  • Technical market research and analytics preferred.
  • Library or information science, with understanding of cataloguing techniques preferred.

Day to Day Tasks

  • Maintain Salesforce CRM records (leads, accounts, contacts, opportunities) for developing Innovation relationships.
  • Create and run custom reports on the Innovation CRM database.
  • Recommend CRM processes and practices.
  • Recommend, maintain, and report basic metrics measuring market engagement for stakeholder activities.
  • Process and facilitate sponsorship contracts and other partnership agreements as directed.
  • Generate reports based on stakeholder information.
  • Perform media and secondary source research as directed.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings, events, and other stakeholder engagement activities.
