ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Identifies business problems and areas of concern that affect efficiencyAnalyses data and builds financial models for forecasting and budgetingGathers and reviews business and industry data including KPIs and financial reportsCoordinates with other departmentsMaintains documentation regarding trainingManage safety and cybersecurity training; follow and assist with workers comp claims through filing claim documents and training documents in employee files.Maintain HRIS system with new hires and terminationsResearches and evaluates learning management systems and collaborates with HR on employee completionManages training programs and coordinates with HR and Operations on completionAudit timecard system for attendance and PTOReview and approve expense reports as assigned by the VP of FinanceTrack new hire evaluations and performance with hiring managers for 30-, 60- and 90-day incrementsParticipate in evaluating, reviewing and implementing HRIS systemComplete other assigned duties are requestedSKILL REQUIREMENTS:Commitment to a safety culture where safety is the first consideration before starting any task.Strong knowledge and understanding of manufacturing techniques, processes and procedures.Effective oral and written communication skills both up and down throughout the company.Solid analytical and strategic planning skills.Proficient in problem analysis and resolution.Mindset that always considers safety and quality first.Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.Strong team builder and player.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree or combination of educationMinimum of 3-5 years relevant experienceWORK ENVIRONMENT:The performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas where all areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shoes and other mandatory safety equipment.For the most part, ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment are present throughout the facility.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Sitting or standing as needed.Walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day.Reaching, pushing, pulling or lifting as required within limits set by Serva Group.SAFETY AND POLICY PRACTICES:Each employee must be knowledgeable of standard safety policies and procedures and adhere to the same while supporting the goals and objectives of the organization and recognizing the Company's need to achieve its business objectives.Each employee is responsible for complying with company hazardous waste disposal procedures.
