We are currently assisting our client with their search for a Business Analyst. Location: Hybrid - Seattle, WA Duration: 12 month long contract Job Summary: The Business Analyst will play a key role in connecting business needs with technology solutions. This position involves collaborating withstakeholders to gather and analyze data, document business requirements, and work alongside teams to implement effective solutions. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, possess strong communication skills, and be able to navigate a dynamic business environment. Responsibilities: Requirement Gathering: Work with business stakeholders to identify and gather requirements through interviews, workshops, and document reviews. Business Process Analysis: Analyze and model business processes to understand current workflows and suggest improvements. Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to support decision-making, ensuring insights are actionable and in line with business objectives. Solution Design: Collaborate with IT and other departments to propose and implement business and system solutions. Documentation: Produce clear documentation, including business requirements, use cases, and functional specifications. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the bridge between business users, IT teams, and vendors, ensuring requirements are translated into actionable deliverables. Project Support: Support teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that business needs are met and changes are managed effectively. Testing & Validation: Help develop test plans and validate that the solutions meet business requirements through testing and user acceptance. Skills and Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field. Proven experience as a Business Analyst or a similar role. Strong understanding of business processes and best practices. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and SQL. Familiarity with project management methodologies like Agile and Waterfall. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with software development processes and tools. Business Analysis certifications such as CBAP or CCBA are a plus.
