As a Business Analyst, you will require a high degree of collaboration and facilitation within the team and across the enterprise, including senior management, as well as have the ability to translate business needs into strategies and formulate plans with focused execution. The Business Analysts' initial focus will be supporting the local PM on delivery and execution, tracking , recording, and controlling all project artefacts.

Principal Accountabilities

Understand customer needs and the business environment and translate into business requirements.

Work closely with project PM to deliver solutions that meet business requirements.

Support local PM on delivery and execution, tracking, recording, and controlling all project artefacts.

Ensure all requirements have suitable benefits associated with it and full traceability on ownership of requirement and success criteria for each requirement.

Perform in-depth impact assessment of proposed changes on processes, data and systems and formally document.

Perform data analysis and clean up for Cedar data

Minimum of 2 years relevant experience, preferred 4 years.

QUALIFICATION DETAILS:

Can you give me a quick overview of what your team does and why you're looking to bring on a contractor?

This person will need to have financial industry background. This role will be very heavy on data analysis, cleanup, etc. this is a very big strategic project for the bank so this person will need to have a strong analytical background and the ability to think and do more than just check boxes. Be able to assess and identify trends within the data.

This role is volume based to help with current initiative supporting Issuer Services. This space provides trustee and corporate lending services to customers. This person will have chunks of work to be completed by certain timelines so will need to be able to work under tight timelines, and there will be ups and downs in volumes.

So that suppliers can paint a good picture to candidates, can you walk me through what a typical day might look like and tell me a little bit about the project that this contractor will be working on?

This will be a small team supporting a larger project team globally. Direction will come from manager and some from head of the business. This person needs to be a self-starter and have the ability to have self-direction. The team can have daily standups during critical times, but in steady state the resource will need to be able to drive deliverables.

8am to 5pm Monday – Friday

Hybrid position coming onsite 2-3 days a week. Will split time between jersey city and the spiral

What would you say are the TOP must-have skills you're looking for? (Measurable skills, technologies, etc.)

- Experience in advanced Business analysis requirements gathering and design techniques; the ability to produce structured BRDs, finalize User Story, and write functional specification.

- Proven delivery experience working in a global project environment with different methodologies (including Agile/Waterfall)

- Experience working in a global/ investment banking change environment.

- Ability to advise stakeholders regarding process improvement initiatives. Ability to present complex solutions in clear and concise language.

- Strong aptitude with Data Analysis and Interpretation skills - the ability to critically evaluate information gathered across multiple sources, using multiple analysis techniques, reconcile variances and recommend proposals to senior and key stakeholders.
