A global investment bank is looking for a IT Business Analyst – Loans/Lending
The IT Financing & Corporate IT team will need a Business Analyst to work on a Letter of Credit migration project from Loan IQ to FBTI (Fusion Banking Trade Innovation). Update documentation, drive test planning and execution, UAT coordination and other related functions.
The candidate will be part of the global project team and work under the supervision of the NY IT Manager of the project.
He/She/They will need to be able to work well in a global team environment (US & Europe) and is expected to share knowledge and collaborate with both IT and business stakeholders. The candidate will have business analysis and project management skills, and work closely with the Global Project Team and local IT Development teams to define sustainable IT solutions that meet business needs, create and execute test plans, coordinate UAT, and report regular statuses.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The business analyst will: Actively participate in the scoping phase of the FBTI migration to collect requirements, assess impact on local and global IT financing applications.
Document Business Processes: write business requirements documents and functional requirements (use cases, flow diagrams, etc.) and validate them with the business.
Assist in the review of functional requirements with IT. Help with building out a detailed project plan understanding the tasks that need to be performed for a complete migration from the existing Letter of Credit platform to FBTI.
Liaise with Local and Global business and IT teams to coordinate all related project efforts. Propose a test strategy, write test scripts, execute test scripts and coordinate UAT.
Work with users to identify issues and work closely with developers to define optimal solutions.
Review deliverables and ensure that change control procedures are properly followed. Ensure that all issues/alerts are coordinated, monitored, logged, tracked, resolved, and appropriately documented, and escalated when necessary Coordinate and liaise with local and Head Office IT on behalf of local users, ensuring that subject matter experts and stakeholders are appropriately engaged.
Provide clear and concise project reporting to the project teams and USIT management.
Requirements:
Required education and/or experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, finance or engineering required
Minimum of 7 years of directly related experience
Experience in financial services, specifically an international bank is highly preferred
