Job Description :

The Business Development Associate will assist in developing Company's oil & gas business, primarily in the midstream/pipeline and water treatment segments. The position works closely with operations team and customers to become a vital part of the decision-making process and acts as a strategic partner. The position also requires a solid reputation in the oil & gas industry to support the building and maintaining of important client relationships. The position builds market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain corporate relationships with key and strategic clients focused on midstream (pipeline, processing, terminal) companies
  • Build strategic company-to-company relationships with key enterprise-wide decision makers
  • Manage targeted client accounts to leverage growth
  • Attend in house weekly meetings
  • Nurture long-term relationships to become client's Trusted Advisor
  • Understand and articulate our value proposition, positioning us to take advantage of our clients' growth strategies
  • Follow the sales process of prospect, qualify, solution discovery, pre close proposal, proposal, close.
  • Monitor competitor products, sales, and marketing activities
  • Develop and maintain pricing models in support of new and existing products and service offerings
  • Lead the company's planning and execution of strategies to increase sales and company growth
  • Oversee the formation of business partnerships and negotiation of contracts
  • Respond to new and existing client needs and requests by coordinating and overseeing the involvement of Design and Project Management
  • Maintain current established relationships, strategically identify new potential clientele, and create a plan to pursue such partnership opportunities
  • Analyze market activity and define ideal project opportunities
  • Having knowledge and understanding of the operational environment where the products will be implemented
  • Navigate complex sales processes and long-term contract conditions
  • Develop and manage sales pursuits in the midstream oil & gas market.
  • Establish revenue growth and create backlog in the oil & gas market segment of Company; ensure the achievement of revenue growth that meets or exceeds Company's targets for each Fiscal Year
  • Work with senior Company management to develop, prioritize, and implement market strategies, achieve market penetration
  • Collaborate with Company's operating service lines to pursue new business opportunities and initiatives within the oil & gas market.
  • Expanding the company's business across work environments and sectors by cross selling Company's full suite of capabilities.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in business or equivalent field preferred; Graduate degree a plus.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in the sales development industry.
  • Experience with market research and competitor analysis
  • Personable, with very strong communication skills, and possess the desire to lead an aggressive business expansion in a fast paced and dynamic market.
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills.
  • Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets.
  • Possess good relationships with clients' decision makers at oil & gas midstream companies
  • Successful track record of leading sales initiatives to exceed revenue targets.
  • Lead internal client teams.

  • Ability to grow and maintain relationship with any individual, irrespective of the background and type of personality

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to function in a typical office environment.
  • Ability to travel at least 50%.
  • Ability to meet all work eligibility requirements.
  • Effectively coordinate and communicate internally across Company's operating sectors and practices
