Job Type Full-time Description We are seeking an Enterprise Business Development Associate to work with the business development team that targets private/wealth management and institutional clients. This role involves driving day-to-day processes through business development pipeline through coordination with the client-facing teams across the national offices. This position has the potential to work up to two days per week from home after an initial training period. Responsibilities include:

  • Oversees and coordinates the firm's various proposal generation processes for both private and institutional clients, including the firm's ClearSight proposals, RFP responses, finalist meeting presentations, and fee pricing
  • Maintains prospect data and status updates in customer relationship management (CRM) system(s)
  • Works closely with client-facing personnel to move potential clients through the sales process efficiently & effectively
  • Coordinates with marketing to manage and execute lead generation tactics and campaigns
  • Assists Head of Enterprise Sales and Marketing with modifying and maintaining the firm's sales pipeline and sales forecasting with an increasing level of accuracy
  • Coordinates with Finance team on analysis to measure key performance indicators for the sales pipeline, such as cycle time by step, prospect conversion success rates, and other relevant trends
  • Supports marketing department and lines of business to identify, track, coordinate and measure client charitable support and events, industry conferences, and other networking events
  • May occasional join the business development team in attending networking events, industry conferences, and educational seminars to meet prospects and remain current with wealth management industry trends
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements Essential skills and experience include:
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in business, finance, sales, data management or equivalent
  • Prior experience with proven results in sales and/or business development
  • 1 - 3 years of RIA, wealth management, or investment-related experience a plus
  • Ability to organize and support sales and lead generation tactics, prospect data, proposal generation process
  • Experience with CRM tools and workflows, marketing tactics, and direct sales methods
  • Ability to formulate a sales presentation and value-added selling points attractive a prospective client
  • Capable of working well under pressure, organizing and managing multiple priorities in a high-performing environment where time management, attention to detail, follow-through and meeting deadlines are critical
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to conduct quantitative analysis with a critical eye
  • Facility with computer applications and advanced proficiency working in spreadsheets
  • Comfortable dealing with high-level decision makers
