An established Home Care organization is looking for a Business Development Director (Director of Sales) for their location in Brooklyn, NY. The Director of Sales is a leadership role responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth and build strong relationships within the home care industry. This individual will oversee a team of sales professionals, build partnerships, and ensure the achievement of revenue goals while maintaining the highest standards of client care and ethical practices.Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development: Create and execute a strategic sales plan to drive business growth and expand market share. Identify target markets and develop tailored sales approaches to meet the needs of diverse client populations. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory updates to refine sales strategies. Team Leadership and Development: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team. Set clear performance objectives and provide regular coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities. Foster a collaborative, results-driven team culture. Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, including healthcare professionals, community organizations, and other stakeholders. Represent the organization at networking events, conferences, and community functions. Operational Oversight: Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior leadership. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (care coordinators, marketing, operations) to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction. Analyze sales metrics and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). 4+ years of sales experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role, in the home care industry. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong knowledge of the home care industry, including services, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics.
