Job Title: Business Developer Job Location: Reston, VA Date Open: 17 May, 2021 Veritiss, LLC is looking for an experienced Government, Federal, DoD Business Developer with experience selling services for our Reston, VA office. This is a full-time position. Veritiss LLC is a service disabled veteran-owned, woman owned, small business based in Reston, VA. Veritiss specializes in intelligence analysis, security management and law enforcement, human resource management and administration, logistics management, language services, and information technology services'. Rapid response project work / recruiting are a core capability. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Business Development / Capture / Sales Executive experience, selling services to government, federal, DoD groups. Market awareness of, and experience with, the company's core business areas. Past experience conducting market research to identify new business opportunities within the core business areas. Demonstrated relationships/engagement with government agencies, understand both future requirements forecast and immediate needs that may require simplified sole source acquisitions. Skill in government, federal capture, identifying and understanding customer needs and what to offer to sell Veritiss capabilities to meet/exceed customer expectations. Proven ability to identify achievable opportunities, RFP's, to expand business capabilities. Full lifecycle experience with bids and proposals. Skill in identifying and understanding customer needs, selling Veritiss capabilities to meet/exceed customer expectations. Aggressive, detail-oriented approach to business development process, able to identify business growth opportunities to increase revenues and growth. Ability to increase profitability by building strategic partnerships and making strategic business decisions. Effective communication and negotiation skills. Experience working with small business contracting companies as prime and sub teaming. In time of COVID19, developing/aggressively using virtual engagement processes with current and potential partners and customers. Perform other duties as required. Educations/Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree with 5-10+ years' experience in Business Development / Sales / Capture or similar. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (excel, word, powerpoint etc). Government business development, full lifecycle RFP, Bid experience Security Clearance: a plus Salary based on experience and education levels.
