The Opportunity with Overcast We are adding a Business Development Manager to our growing Overcast division in Seattle. In this role you will identify, quantify and sell products and services to new and existing clients. Additional responsibilities include:
- Target, inform and educate key vertical market prospects on the Overcast product offering and value proposition.
- Increase the gross revenue and operating income as delineated by yearly goals through the pursuit and award of target projects utilizing the Overcast Cloud and Modular Grid Platform product solutions.
- Develop and execute strategic and tactical business plans.
- Position Overcast's brand within identified vertical markets and with key channel partner relationships within the designated region.
- Build, lead and maintain relationships with industry leaders, associations and organizations at local, state and regional levels.
- Provide support to the customer with regards to project financial, contractual and technical issues.
- Continuously populate company CRM with sales leads.
- Oversee regional proposal and collateral material development.
- Participate in regional and national industry events
What You Need to Succeed at Overcast
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management or equivalent work experience required.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, contracts, proposals and estimates required.
- Knowledge of the commercial construction process required.
- Five (5 ) years of experience leading strategic sales pursuits and converting those sales pursuits into new business, while growing and developing the sales funnel with qualified opportunities.
- Experience in consultative selling required.
- Experience with closing complex sales required.
- Experience using CRM and Web-based Sales Enablement tools

The pay range for this position is $95,000 - $115,00 per year and a sales incentive plan; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
