AGS USA, through its subsidiary Omni Transloading and Logistics (OTL), is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) who is accountable for helping OMNI grow our transportation & warehouse sales through identifying new prospects, soliciting, and selling transportation solutions & warehouse services. The BDR will have autonomy and internal resources to develop their individualized game plan of targeted industries to solicit and seize. The BDR will focus on establishing new business relationships and maximizing sales opportunities with target customers across Florida, as well as on domestic and international markets.

The logistics BDR will have a full-time position, working in the office (Medley, Florida) and in the field selling a wide range of logistics services & warehouse solutions.

The logistics BDR must have a growth mindset and must build trust & rapport with the new customers through daily account management, regular reviews of service agreements and by re-assuring the stakeholders of our continued commitment to the partnership.

The logistics BDR will target customers in Florida, as well as national and international clients, by uncovering and presenting profitable sales opportunities in all transportation and warehousing verticals to the Commercial Manager. The BDR will interpret how multiple factors affecting market conditions could impact on a customer's supply chain and must deliver a persuasive case for change.

The Logistics BDR must possess current knowledge of the warehousing and transportation industry and be well-versed in understanding and selling transportation and warehousing services. These include FTL (dry and reefer), drayage, flatbed, LTL, cross-docking, rail freight, trade show logistics, and warehouse distribution services and solutions. The BDR must have the capacity to sharpen their selling skills in more specialized transportation modes while developing vital relationships with key accounts & decision makers that sustain repeat profitable sales opportunities. No restrictions on targeted sales regions, commodities or equipment.

The logistics BDR is responsible for conducting a certain number of sales calls by telephone daily, email and scheduling face-to-face meetings in the assigned territory, and other objectives determined by the Commercial Manager. The logistics BDR must attend weekly face to face internal meetings with operations & sales management, establish sales call cycle and work on day-to-day tasks with a high degree of effective time management skills.

The logistics BDR will have a support system of experienced peers and OMNI management to help along with their sales success. OMNI will provide training and ongoing career development.

Responsible for initiating engaging sales calls to prospects & current clients, researching and identifying companies not currently doing business with the organization and converting them into repeated business opportunities with high growth trajectory, supervise accounts daily to retain existing relationships, responsible for price negotiation with customers, responsible for meeting sales goals to aid in achieving targets, uphold rapport with clients and prospects, responsible for offering quotes to current clients, responsible for supervising operations until shipment completion to guarantee smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications & Expectations:

-Bachelor's degree, pass background check & reference check and have a valid U.S. driver license.

-Must have documented sales experience (3 years).

-Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the USA.

-Must have industry knowledge and previously sold warehousing, transportation services & solutions.

-Candidates having a portable book of business which can be transferable in time would be beneficial as well.

-Be able to travel 30% for sales duties and also be able to attend corporate events as directed by management throughout the year. Must also have the means to report daily to the office in Medley, Florida.

-Must have the ability to work in the field without direct supervision while being accountable to OMNI management with tangible results. The candidate must be comfortable with meeting customers face to face, speaking on the telephone and working as an individual contributor. The candidate is responsible for creating new monthly business revenue generation through identifying, prospecting, managing, and closing new opportunities.

-The candidate must be able to give examples of their prior sales accomplishments & career highlights and be able to define their path to future success using their proven success in building new strategic relationships. Must have knowledge of the warehousing, transportation industry and previous sales experience and excellent communication skills.

-Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English and Spanish.

-Must be driven to achieve quotas and reach realistic sales goals, have an enthusiastic and outgoing personality while knowing your audience, be aggressive and competitive nature minded, must have adaptability of new technology, be quick learner who is successful at multi-tasking, be a proven “take charge performer” who has both initiative & a strong work ethic for action, and enjoys & thrives in fast paced, dynamic work environment.

-Full-time position in our sales department, working hours are 8AM-5PM, Monday-Friday and as required by management.
