Business DirectorJob Identification: 17877Posting Date:Job Schedule:Locations:Degree Level:Job Description:What We're Looking ForThis position specifically supports the mission of Baylor University by serving as support to Investments staff in the successful achievement of Baylor's goals for the Office of Investments.A bachelor's degree and ten years of relevant work experience are required. A master's degree with a minimum of seven years of experience is preferred.Additional preferred knowledge, skills and qualifications:* Risk management certification* Building, construction or facilities management experienceA valid US Driver's License with a clear driving record of at least two years is required.Some driving and potential travel will be required to complete the primary functions of the job.Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis.What You Will Do* Assisting investment staff with all aspects of operational support to successfully prosecute investments.* Assisting investment staff with planning and executing events in support of the goals of the department and University.* Collaborate with campus communications and marketing team on Investments Office communications and branding items.* Manage all aspects of facilities management for the Investments Office.* Assist Investments team by organizing and supporting the strategic internship program including recruitment and onboarding.* Conduct research and report on potential investments and provide analysis back to Investments staff.* Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission.* Ability to comply with University policies.* Maintain regular and punctual attendance.What You Can ExpectAs part of the Baylor family, eligible employees receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, generous time off, tuition remission, and outstanding automatic retirement contributions.
