We are always seeking TOP TALENT - experienced individuals who embrace our core values of respect, innovation, integrity andimpact.The Business District Manager is responsible for maximizing revenue for the full line of Viamericas Corporation services to existing and new agents in the territory assigned. The primary responsibilities include training, managing, and leading a team of Business Development Executives within the assigned geographic district to establish, maintain, grow and generate revenue. Also, recruiting targeted agents, maximizing same store sales, controlling agent attrition and improving service quality provided by agents to consumers. Provides personalized service to agents by being in constant communication with them, in order to satisfy all existing and prospective agent's needs. The position requires the incumbent to gather market conditions and intelligence, develop action plans, and integrate the sales force to work toward achieving the established company goals (i.e. growth, profitability, market share, etc.).Duties and ResponsibilitiesStrategic:
  • Lead, develop and direct the district to deliver sales revenue and profit objectives.
  • Work closely with the Vice President of Sales to achieve company objectives.
  • Lead the district and oversee planning integrated with the business strategies in partnership with the senior management team.
  • Cultivate and maintain a strong customer-focused approach.
  • Integrate competitor information and customer knowledge with customer priorities to develop business opportunities.
  • Establish and/or develop sales strategy and tactics for assigned district and effectively communicate to the sales team.Technical/Functional:
    • Lead Sales Team to meet or exceed sales goals, agent base and existing agency productivity. Market penetration.
    • Monitor progress against key performance indicators for the district, ensure that progress is effectively communicated and implement strategies and tactics to address performance gaps.
    • Identify and execute against new business opportunities within your sales district.
    • Employee development and performance management in a metric-driven environment.
    • Develop skills to assist the Sales Team discover new business opportunities.
    • Recruit, develop, coach and motivate a strong sales team.
    • Establish contacts and relationships with potential agents.
    • Maintain and increase same store sales.
    • Work closely with the Vice President of Sales in order to create and develop sales strategies.
    • Implement and enforce company decisions within the sales district.
    • Travel to different cities in the district to work closely with the Sales Team and visit agents in the area to strengthen relationships and to increase same store sales.
    • Ensure that agents in the district get the best service possible from our Sales and Agent support staff.
    • Support collection activities in the district.
    • Work closely with other Departments to facilitate sales activities.Sales Duties:
      • Recruitment of new agent locations in the assigned territory. Grow and maintain agents through their life cycle.
      • Generate leads, call on prospects, evaluate business position and convert into new business signings. Identify additional selling opportunities and promote sales growth for established agent locations.
      • Support new agent application process by inputting the prospective client in the application system and following up on the submitted application.
      • Must consistently meet or exceed target goals and objectives.
      • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Viamericas Corporation's services and products, and counsel agents on how products and services have the potential to satisfy their needs and those of their customers.
      • Activate, install & provide agent training on how to use our products (systems) adequately so they can have an optimal experience while using it.
      • Provide ongoing agent support and maintenance through agency visits.
      • Replace all damaged equipment in order to maintain level of production.
      • Establish a nexus between client and Company by constantly communicating important information.
      • Closely monitor competitors' rates.
      • Assist/coordinate with Inside Sales, Revenue Management, Customer Service, Compliance, and other operational departments to ensure agents and customers are taken care of and happy with our service.
      • Work with the Payer team to enhance and develop relationships and negotiate as needed for improved costs.
      • Provide feedback to Company about everything that takes place with the client. This includes doubts, concerns, complaints, suggestions, and all other relevant events like changes competitors are making.
      • Must work cooperatively with other Company departments including: Inside Sales, Applications, Accounts Receivables, Compliance, Products and other Sales Representatives.
      • Assist the Compliance department with additional training to the agents.
      • Assist with collections from nonpaying agents within assigned territory.
      • Must be willing to travel up to 80% of the time.Information Security Responsibilities:
        • Make sure you and your team read, acknowledge and comply with Viamericas' Staff Information Security Policy.
        • Make sure you and your team attend periodic Information Security training provided by Viamericas.
        • Report any event that might be an Information Security Incident: clicked on a malicious link, downloaded and opened a suspicious file, etc.Qualifications
          • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
          • 2-3 years experience in outside sales in the industry preferred.
          • A self-starter, with excellent time management, organizational and interpersonal skills required.
          • Proven negotiation, sales closing experience, and relationship management skills required.
          • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as demonstrated presentation abilities required.
          • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint is preferred.
          • Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record is mandatory.Working Conditions
            • Will be working in the field (80% of the time fieldwork) - using their place of residence as an office (20% of the time office work).
