To learn more, please visit Apogem Capital.Apogem Capital is seeking a Business Intelligence, Assistant Vice President to work at a high quality, growing alternative investment management firm in the business intelligence group. This role is focused on project management, maintaining portfolio reporting, providing analytical support for the firm's investment capabilities, and advancing the group's analytical capabilities. This role offers the opportunity to interact with senior professionals across the firm and the potential to develop into a more senior position.What You'll Do:Project Management - Ability to manage multiple complex projects leveraging resources across various groups.Process Development and automation enhancements - Work closely with various groups across organization to re-design processes and create automation to enhance scalability of functional areas.Performance Reporting and Portfolio Monitoring -Work collaboratively with investment teams to manage quarterly performance analysis and reporting.Work collaboratively with investment teams to manage quarterly collection and updating of portfolio company data.Respond to internal ad hoc performance needs.Analysis - Perform and assist with ad hoc analysis and modeling of the firm's investment portfolios.Assist in completing monthly/quarterly requests of the firm's private credit investors.Data Management - Own data collection and entry of underlying investment portfolio information.Help maintain the integrity of the firm's information through development and monitoring of data governance rules.Contribute to expanding the firm's data tracking and analysis capabilities.Organization - Develop a strong base of knowledge across all Apogem's investment strategies.What You'll Bring:Four-year college degree in a quantitative, finance, or analytics areaFive to seven years' experience working in a data, quantitative or operations roleExperience in Private Credit, Private Equity or other Alternative Investment strategiesExperience within structured and unstructured data environmentsHigh proficiency with Microsoft ExcelExperience with Portfolio Monitoring systems, General Ledgers, visualization tools and CRMsAbility to communicate data-driven insights in a concise and accurate mannerDemonstrated resourcefulness and initiative with an entrepreneurial mindsetStrong problem-solving and organizational skills; must be able to prioritize tasksAbility to work in a very team-oriented culture and maintain a high-level of communication with team members to coordinate tasks#LI-AM1#hybrid#NYChiring​Pay TransparencySalary range: $140,000 - $170,000 Overtime eligible: Exempt Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes Sales bonus eligible: No Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location.
