Currency Exchange International is seeking an experienced Business System Analyst to work within the technology team and support its growth.

Description: The Business System Analyst will work as part of a technology team that is dedicated to delivering best in class software and support to its internal and external users. The technology team operates in a fast-paced environment where personnel work collaboratively to address issues and design solutions for CXI. The Analyst will be handling multiple ongoing projects, simultaneously.

Essential Functions:

  • Interface with business teams or clients to identify software needs and architect improvements to existing systems
  • Assist business teams with adherence to the companys project framework and completion of required project documents
  • Provide support to end users for detailed questions pertaining to production application systems
  • Configure system options in-line with business requirements and processes following proper approval workflows
  • Act as technical project lead for software implementations
  • Assist with testing of new software or applications as needed
  • Assist in managing application support ticket queues
  • Document processes relating to system improvements and changes to production applications
  • Execute system and integration testing in the Companys core software applications
  • Provide after-hours support of production systems as needed

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in IT or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst within the Banknotes or Payments domain
  • Proven work experience with core banking, domestics and cross border payments & payments hub
  • Prior experience with managing projects/process, working independently with limited supervision
  • Prior experience with working in a software development life cycle
  • Familiarity with software testing processes and best practices
  • Familiarity with payment processing systems and related APIs
  • Understanding of foreign exchange and international payments business needs, technology, compliance requirements and customer segments
  • Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

    Days of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
