Job Details BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST The Select Group is currently hiring for a Business Systems Analyst to join as a resource for one of our clients within the Telecommunications industry that will sit onsite in Stamford, CT. This Analyst will be joining the team to support the State Privacy Verifiable Consumer Requests BAU process, which entails a growing privacy function throughout the country. The data privacy is focused on the use and governance of personal data- putting policies in place to ensure that consumers' personal information is being collected, shared and used in appropriate ways. Therefore, this Analyst should be very strongly process oriented and should feel comfortable working with cross functional stakeholders to collect requirements effectively. - This Analyst must possess at least 4+ years of professional experience within an enterprise environment (500+ employees)
- Proven experience utilizing Microsoft Suite Products, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
- Excel - Manipulation functions, pulling data quickly, inputting or using SUM functions without guidance
- PPT- creating presentations slides for higher level management or team individuals - must be able to assess the audience effectively
- Experience communicating with cross-functional groups to gather requirements and determine the best course of action for everyone effected by business changes - technical, functional, legal teams
- Proficient assessing Root Cause Analysis of projects from start to finish - following an assembly line process
- Team Oriented, Strong Communication, comfortable joining meetings with individuals you don't know well and still exuding strong presence and demeaner
PLUS SKILLS:
- Privacy or Compliance Experience
- Cable/Telecommunications Industry knowledge
BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 60% of the role is task oriented, 40% is project oriented
- Joining the Business Integration team that is currently onboarding new states into their privacy platform
- Understand the ins and outs of the process assembly lines as well as understand and assess requests coming through the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) or Microsite
- Connect w/ various business units to gather information and understand which privacy information is being received (SSN, DOB, IP Address, Viewing History, etc.)
- Collaborate with legal to ensure privacy laws are being protected and make appropriate recommendations for the business to change/edit
