The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for the development and implementation of technology to solve business problems. This role will work with stakeholders across all business departments to identify requirements, review available solutions, and deliver quality results regarding systems or processes in a timely and effective manner. The successful candidate will directly incorporate technologies and processes into our company vision, mission, and core values.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand business needs and to gather and document systems requirements
- Build relationships to act as a consultant across the organization providing recommendations, best practices, system capabilities, and training
- Ability to problem-solve, troubleshoot, and ultimately resolve system-related issues as they are reported
- Provide world-class customer service to our business stakeholders for all technical improvements and/or troubleshooting needs
- Develop and work with external vendors as needed for solutions within business systems
- Identify and effectively communicate opportunities for future improvements to business processes and/or systems
- Train and educate users on the operations, features, and best practices of business systems
- Work on concurrent projects of varying size and scope, adhering to timelines and objectives
- Collaborate with the rest of the Business Technology team as well as the rest of the Technology, Data, and Analytics department to deliver enterprise solutions
- Support the completion of Business-As-Usual (BAU) tickets
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ year(s) of relevant experience working with or analyzing technological systems or software to drive business outcomes
- 1+ year(s) of experience capturing business requirements and translating into technical specifications and developing and implementing technical solutions
- 1+ year(s) of experience working with SQL to manage and manipulate data
- Preference for experience within auto finance industry or similar lending environment
- Ability to work well as a member of a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
