Role manages all travel related activities for Live! Casino & Hotel and its affiliates. This includes negotiating contract terms with vendors and travel agencies, maintaining budgeted travel expenditures, and managing/organizing all aspects of corporate travel arrangements Works closely with executive management, key managers team members, and travel companies (airlines, trains, car rentals, etc.) to ensure a smooth and hassle-free travel experience for all.

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

* Negotiate with vendors and travel companies to obtain the most favorable terms and conditions for corporate travel bookings.

* Manage and track travel expenses, including reconciling invoices, receipts, and credit card statements to ensure compliance with Live! company policies and budgetary constraints.

* Research and compare prices, availability, and quality of travel options such as flights, hotels, and car rentals to secure the best rates and accommodations.

* Advise team members on travel policies, obtain required approvals, and necessary documentation needed for their travel.

* Book travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and other necessary arrangements.

* Prepare and distribute travel itineraries, including all relevant details such as flight information, hotel confirmations, car confirmations and meeting schedules.

* Ensure all travel arrangements are accurate, complete and aligned with the traveler's preferences and requirements. To also, include any follow up confirmation needed for the travel.

* Assist team members in resolving any travel-related issues or emergencies, including flight cancellations, missed connections, lost luggage, etc.

* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, travel regulations, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the travel management process.

* Maintain and update a database of team member travel profiles, including preferences, frequent flyer accounts, KTN information, passport details, and other relevant information.

* Managing Operations within a 24/7 business operation.

* Strong management and organizational skills including multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and often interruptive environment.

* Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all travel arrangements and documentation.

* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members, vendors and travel companies.

* Knowledge of travel policies, regulations and requirements.

* Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable rates and terms with travel companies.

* Ability to handle and resolve travel-related issues or emergencies promptly and efficiently.

* Familiarity with various travel technologies and emerging trends in the travel industry.

* Strong customer service skills.

* Ability to work independently and make independent decisions with minimal supervision.

* Flexibility to adapt to frequently changing travel arrangements and schedules.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

* Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business or related field preferred.

* Two (2+) years of experience in corporate travel coordination or related field.

* Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc)

* Extensive knowledge of booking systems, online travel portals, and travel management tools.

* Familiarity with budgeting and expense management processes.

* Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live's operating standards.
