The Hotel Cleveland is looking for an eager hotel Business Travel Sales Manager who is ready to elevate this luxurious property. The Business Travel Sales Manager will be responsible for soliciting and booking business for budgeted business travel revenue goals for national and local accounts, extended stay, and project business segments.
The Hotel Cleveland is part of the Marriott Autograph Collection, with 491 recently renovated rooms and 60,000 sq. ft. of meeting space.

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS** **:**
+ Concentration in Business Travel Sales, to include Local and National Account development, Management of Consortia programs, ongoing market analysis and proactive sales efforts are a must. Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel, both orally and in written form to previous, current and potential clients.
+ Handle account details so that all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented. Coordinate various departments participation in servicing accounts. Provide daily, weekly, and monthly progress updates.
+ Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients.
+ Travel to conduct outside calls, promote the hotel, and review competition.
+ Prepare information for, meet with and entertain clients as deemed appropriate by potential business from that account.
+ Represent hotels at trade shows. Set up exhibits involving bending, stooping, lifting, and reaching overhead.
+ Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff regarding maintenance of accounts.
+ Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
+ Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
**REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:**
+ A minimum of three (3) years of previous hotel Business travel Sales Manager experience is required.
+ Previous Marriott and CI/TY experience is highly preferred.
+ Ability to effectively communicate with customers in a friendly and positive manner, in order to solicit business, meet client needs, and resolve complaints.
+ Ability to travel and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
