Volt is immediately hiring for Project Procurement Leader, in El Paso, TX As a Project Procurement Leader, you will be responsible for:

• Propose cost reduction projects/ ideas (Quality value add & Change of supplier) within his/her perimeter in consistency with the Purchasing strategy goals.
• Contribute to the correct financial analytics maintenance via the regular and constant update of financial tools.
• Support the procurement strategy for supplier consultation & selection.
• Support and/or lead all the activities related the supply qualification system in plant according with the responsibility matrix defined.
• Coordinate 3F's, Build Up and Samples as related to Project execution ERP update 'Workflows/One Shuttle: * Update SL, Leadtime's, MoQ, New Part Creation.
• ERP update 'Workflows/One Shuttle: * Update PIR and Vendor change.
• PO Placement coordination (tools, samples, and production)
• Optimize logistics/packaging conditions and requirements according to plant/project needs

Required skills:

• Procurement Supplier management Cost reduction Data maintenance Part qualification. Business continuity Supplier risk mitigation

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in business, Engineering and/or Supply Chain or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, purchasing or Project Management.
• Advanced English proficiency to thrive in our global environment.
• Spanish language proficiency is preferred but not a must
• Familiarity with SAP, along with knowledge of engineering/manufacturing processes.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including supplier management, cost analysis, and inventory management.
• Experience with commodities like stampings, sheet metal fabrication, plastics, or electronics.

Other Skills:

• Multicultural experience, teamwork, and digital acumen are highly valued.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and database management.
• Updates directly in the following tools: JIRA, i-Project, i-Save.
