Job Location : all cities,CA, USA
Negotiate and replenish products (Meat, Produce, Seafood or Grocery) at competitive market prices, while ensuring accurate delivery
Assist in establishing pricing guidelines and maintaining sales plus gross profit expectations
Generate reports and perform analysis on product selection, sales, pricing, market reports, forecast for promotion and other related data as required
Purchase produce, fruit vegetables, perishables
Handle items with an expiration date
Initiates quote process with suppliers, evaluates supplier bids and participates in price negotiations
Maintains purchase order updating delivery dates, prices or other required supplier information
Maintains procurement records such as items or services purchased, cost, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories
Executes purchase order cancellations and resolves invoice discrepancies
Places orders for submitted purchase requisitions
Review orders for accuracy, pricing, and delivery
Prepares reports, plans, and updates metrics as required
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma required
Minimum of 3+ years of procurement/purchasing experience
Food and beverage experience (required)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (v-lookups experience highly preferred)
