WE LOVE OUR WORK.

* Exercise buying responsibilities based on the best value considering quantity, quality, specification, delivery time, vendor status, and cost.

* Obtain bids for all items purchased.

* Negotiate all aspects of purchase terms and transportation.

* Keep informed of market conditions, suppliers, and product availability.

* Ensure proper approval of all purchasing activities.

* Maintain established pars on pertinent warehouse stock items. Involves taking a weekly physical inventory.

* Coordinate artwork and pertinent information for the placement of printing orders. Maintain accurate and current files on printing artwork and samples, past and present.

* Responsible for verification of quality and accuracy of all printing deliveries.

* Review vendor performance with recommendations to purchasing director.

* Responsibilities include but are not limited to the ordering of office supplies, office furniture, special promotional items, small office machines, computer equipment and supplies, repair and office equipment, maintenance supplies and equipment, and housekeeping supplies and equipment.

* Research unpaid invoices at the request of accounting or vendors.

* Interact with vendors to discuss products and negotiate prices on some items (as established by the Supply Chain Manager) and do preliminary negotiating on some contract.

* Maintain accurate cross-files.

* Bachelor's degree preferred.

* Two (2) years purchasing experience, preferably in a hotel/casino/F&B environment.

* Must pass a background and MVR check.

* Able to maintain a valid state-issued Driver's License

* Able to obtain and maintain a Colorado Support Gaming License

* Demonstrates ability to plan and organize work.

* Demonstrates ability to represent and support management's philosophies and best interests.

* Proficient with MS Office.

* Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills.

* Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

* Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with team member relations issues.

* Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.

* Highly organized and detail-oriented
