Please note the salary range for this position. $50,000-$60,000 salary with 10 days of PTO and 10 paid holidays.

Description:

Novares is actively recruiting for a Site Buyer to join our team in one of our Walworth, WI Production Plants. In this role you will have the opportunity to not only deploy purchasing strategies the leave a positive impact on the plant, but also contribute to the continuous improvement of the purchasing function. In this role you can expect to:

• Carry out both production and non-production purchasing for the site
• Collaborate with various departments to prepare RFQ's
• Interact with suppliers, both negotiating prices and deescalating issues
• Propose solutions to improve productivity of the plant

Qualifications:

• 3+ years in a buyer role, preferably in an automotive or plastics manufacturing environment
• Experience preparing RFQ's, and strong collaboration skills
• Proven experience with negotiation and cost reduction strategies
• Experience monitoring purchase prices
• Ability to ensure regulations are followed properly, and documented correctly
• Ability to adhere to plant safety policies
• Associate degree in related field, bachelor's degree is nice to have.
