Buyer - LHH : Job Details

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Buyer to join our client's procurement team. The Buyer will work closely with other departments, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality goods and services at the best possible price. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing, sourcing, and negotiating products and services on behalf of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, source, and procure goods and services from suppliers in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers and evaluate their products and services.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and prices with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to delivery schedules, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory, and supplier information.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that procurement meets their requirements and objectives.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, new products, and market conditions that may affect procurement strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or a similar field is preferred.
• 3+ years of purchasing experience.
• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
• Familiarity with sourcing from domestic and international suppliers.
