Buyer - Amotec : Job Details

Amotec is seeking a Buyer to join the team of our client, a privately held manufacturer with over 30 years of history, located near Scranton, PA. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Buyer will be responsible for procuring materials, supplies, and MRO at the most efficient cost to fulfill customer commitments and achieve company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and manage contracts.
• Process and track purchase orders accurately and on time.
• Monitor supplier performance for quality and delivery.
• Optimize inventory levels while adhering to budgets and KPIs.
• Maintain procurement records and prepare reports.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience (Bachelor's preferred).
• 2+ years in procurement, ideally in manufacturing.
• Strong organizational and critical-thinking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP is a plus.
