Buyer - Rauch & Associates : Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for a wide range of commodities.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and other contractual terms to maximize value and minimize costs.
• Draft and manage contracts, including purchase orders, master service agreements, and confidentiality agreements.
• Onboard new suppliers and manage existing relationships.
• Monitor supplier performance, identify and resolve issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct regular supplier reviews to assess their performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs.
• Conduct detailed cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost savings through negotiation, alternative sourcing, and process improvements.
• Support the development and implementation of cost-reduction strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budget plans for procurement-related expenses.
• Track and analyze procurement spending to identify trends and forecast future needs.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement policies and regulations.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with the supply chain

What we think you should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in contract negotiation and supplier management.
• At least 2 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or a related field.
