Petroleum Inspector (Field Testing) - Synerfac : Job Details

Summary:A Petroleum Construction Company is looking to hire a Field Inspector specializing in petroleum systems and environmental compliance to join their team in Glen Burnie. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe operation and regulatory compliance of fueling facilities and related equipment. Responsibilities:* Driving company service vehicles to customer sites* Performing inspections of underground storage tanks (USTs)* Conducting tank and line testing, spill bucket testing, and changing out filters in fuel dispensers* Maintaining and repairing mechanical and instrumentation systems (fluid flow, gas flow, chemical reactions, mechanical equipment, etc.)* Ensuring proper placement and functionality of leak detectors and sensors* Completing compliance documentation* Performs other related duties as assigned.Job RequirementsRequirements:* 2+ years experience in the petroleum field, as a service technician and/or inspector* Knowledge of petroleum industry regulations and standards* Valid DL* Petro-Tite Line Tester or industry equivalent certification* Open to working on call during off hours as needed
