JOB SUMMARY

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Carpenter or in a Cabinet Service Technician, or Cabinet Installer. In this role, you will work to service and repair cabinets, moldings, trim, and handle any touch-ups or adjustments needed on job sites.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

The Cabinet Field Technician has full responsibility for the following functions:

* Be available to accept repair, install, and/or preventative maintenance calls.

* Daily inspections of installations when at a community

* Customer service inspections/repairs with homebuyers, builders, superintendents, and manufacturers

* Repair cabinetry as necessary including touch-ups, hinge repair, and replacement.

* Respond to client field inquiries in a prompt, knowledgeable, and courteous manner.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. MANDATORY

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Ability to work with numerous contractors and subcontractors in an efficient manner.

* Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Wants to be part of a team.

* Strong organization, problem solving, and time management skills.

* Clean driving record with valid driver's license and auto insurance.

* Reliable transportation from jobsite to jobsite.

* Ability to safely lift at least 50 lbs.

* Construction trade experience with a homebuilder or subcontractor a plus.

* At least 2 years' experience with cabinet construction, installation, millwork, finish, and staining.
