Progressive from the start, we consistently set the pace for industry best practices.We are looking for a dynamic, hands-on Coffee Bar Manager with demonstrated managerial experience in restaurants. We are looking for someone to join our management team and grow within the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all F&B operations, including forecasting, budgeting, and inventory while maximizing sales and revenue.   • Employee Management
  • Selection, development, and performance management of employees
  • Participate in ongoing education for team members, including, daily pre-meal meetings
  • Directing/assisting staff during service
  • Creating and managing employee schedules
  • Mediating employee concerns and issues
Operational Management
  • Coordinate and manage the entire operation of the venue during scheduled service, including the flow of service, and implementing creative solutions as needed
  • Resolving guest issues and concerns with a professional demeanor
  • Enforcing service standards as described in the Hospitality/Great Performances Employee Guides
  • Maintain open, professional communication with back-of-house staff and partner with culinary management on menu items
Venue Promotions
  • Assist the Venue Director with promotional activities and operational changes
  • Manage logistics for internal catering events
  • Assist with rental orders and special event ordering
  • Accommodating special requests as per Venue Director
Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
  • Minimum 4-5 years of hospitality management experience
  • combination of practical experience and education
  • Knowledge of computers to fulfill management functions, including Word and excel
  • Knowledge of Department of Health guidelines and standards
  • Employee management
  • Self-disciplined and initiative; leadership ability; pleasant, polite manner and a neat and clean appearance
  • Ability to motivate employees to work as a team to ensure that food and
  • Service meets hospitality standards
  • Restaurant management experience is a must
  • Must be able to handle the pressures of simultaneously coordinating a wide
  • Range of activities and recommend appropriate solutions to common restaurant problems.
  • Must possess excellent communication and written skills
  • Food Handler's Certificate
  • Catering and Concession management experience is a plus
